Model GS-101B-100 Timing Board

Product Description

The Model GS-101B-100 GPS/IRIG-B Synchronized Time Code Generator ( S TCG ) is a low cost high performance timing board ideal for integration into other systems. When operated in the GPS mode, time and rates are precisely referenced to UTC. When operated in the IRIG mode, time and rates are precisely referenced to the IRIG generating source. Time, position and status are available on the RS-232 I/O and the USB Ports.

The Model GS-101B-100 STCG is ideal for providing time, rates and position information in laboratory as well as portable conditions. This board is useful for computer synchronization via the available GUI. With 10 Event Capture Input registers, this versatile board can be used to record and report multiple triggers. The Time Interval input ena- bles a simple comparison between external events and the internal 1PPS. The GS-101B-100 can provide the drive for large format wall and console time displays. A variety of popular Rate Output choices allows for fast and flexible rate selection for a multitude of applications.

The time is referenced to UTC when operating in the GPS mode. The RS-232 and manual control allow the user to configure the unit to provide local or daylight savings time or to configure the programmable pulse.
